While composing an email earlier today about providing moving resources to a large local institution, I found myself focusing quite a bit on our concierge service. It’s so outside of the spectrum of what a normal moving company provides, that it often needs more explanation than our basic moving services do! See, the moving industry doesn't have a very good reputation, but we pride ourselves as being the knight in shining armor that helps and protects our clients during one of the most stressful transitions of their life: moving.

One of the ways we do this is the afore-mentioned concierge service. It’s free of charge and available to anyone who is interested, regardless of whether they are a Meathead client. In an industry so rife with fraudulent, unscrupulous movers, we are happy to help anyone who is in the process of moving, even if we cannot personally service their move. We've pre-screened other moving companies’ licensing, reputation, and practices in cities and states that we don't service, and provide recommendations customized to your specific moving needs. We do this because we have a sharp eye honed from years in the moving industry, and truly want to help people have successful, and, dare I say, pleasant moving experiences.

In addition to providing counsel to those seeking moving services, the other huge benefit of our concierge service is that over the last 14 years, we have developed relationships with high-quality and trustworthy moving related vendors (cleaners, storage facilities, auto-transport companies, etc) which we leverage to your advantage. These service providers offer preferred treatment and pricing to our Meathead clients, and your friendly Meathead Concierge is happy to research and coordinate whatever services you may need in the course of your move.
